Emerging
Adulthood
Somewhere between finishing school and having your life "figured out" is a stretch of time nobody really prepares you for. The years between late adolescence and full adulthood are often marked by instability, in relationships, career direction, identity, and living situations, even as the outside world expects steady progress toward "adult" milestones. You're old enough to be making real decisions but still discovering who you are apart from your family, your degree, or the plans other people had for you, and that mismatch between internal uncertainty and external pressure can be quietly destabilizing, especially when it's not something people talk about openly.
This work treats this period as a genuine developmental stage in its own right, not simply a delay to be corrected, giving that in-between time the weight it deserves. We'll explore the choices in front of you (career, relationships, where and how to live) alongside the unconscious patterns, often rooted in family dynamics, that shape how you're approaching independence and intimacy. Underneath all of it is a slower, quieter kind of work: getting to know yourself well enough to trust your own direction, instead of measuring your pace against everyone else's.
