Therapy can ease real suffering.
But at its best, it does something more.
It builds your capacity to stay curious about yourself, even when it's hard, and helps you live more fully into the complexity of what it means to be human. What I hope for the people I work with is not just relief, but aliveness.
Starting this work takes courage. It's an invitation to go slow, go deep, and get curious together about the wounds you carry, the ways they were internalized, and how, piece by piece, they've made you who you are.
I practice from a contemporary psychoanalytic and psychodynamic framework. Healing often begins when we bring unconscious material and past experience into conscious awareness, where it can be thoughtfully examined and understood.
I hold immense respect for every client who steps into my practice, fully aware of the trust they place in me by sharing their story. I work to cultivate a safe, open environment where you can explore your internal world and your innermost thoughts and feelings, knowing that no subject is off-limits.
Each person carries a unique constellation of experiences and intersecting identities that shape their way of being in the world. Together, we'll unravel the layers of your past and present to build a compassionate, honest understanding of who you are.
