LGBTQIA+
Support
Figuring out who you are is hard enough without also having to figure out who's safe to tell. Identity is never formed in a vacuum, and for LGBTQIA+ folks, that process often unfolds against a backdrop of family expectation, cultural messaging, and internalized judgment that can be difficult to untangle alone. For a lot of people, therapy becomes one of the first places where every part of you gets to be in the room at once, without translation or editing. We will of course talk about identity, but also about the relationships, family history, and internalized messages that shaped how you learned to see yourself.
This work is less about arriving at a label and more about developing an authentic, integrated relationship with yourself, in all its complexity, at your own pace. Whether you're early in coming out, years into your transition, navigating a relationship structure your family doesn't understand, or just tired of explaining yourself, this is about building a relationship with yourself that doesn't depend on anyone else's approval first.

Before we begin working together, I offer a free 15 to 20 minute phone or zoom consultation. It gives us both a chance to talk through what brings you to therapy and see if I'm the right therapist for you.
