Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem rarely comes out of nowhere, and it rarely stems from a lack of accomplishment. It's usually built over years, out of messages you received (directly or indirectly) about your worth, your abilities, or your place in your family or community, and internalized as a persistent inner voice of inadequacy. That voice often persists regardless of external success, because the wound isn't really about performance. It's about worth. Even when you know intellectually that those old messages aren't true, they can still run quietly underneath everything, shaping how you talk to yourself.
This work looks at where those beliefs originated and what's kept them alive, so you can begin to separate long-held self-criticism from the truth of who you are. Real self-esteem isn't about convincing yourself you're great. It's about no longer needing to prove your worth in the first place.
